One day, this big, chestnut comes out with a young woman (teen or early twenties) that just impresses everyone. He is beautiful, moves in a lovely manner, and his rider looked like a million bucks on him. Everyone was trying to guess his breed. TB? Selle Francais? Warmblood cross?

Finally we asked the girl. He was a quarter horse! Not even an appendix, although I am sure there was lots of TB in there. I was tickled pink, because all the fancy people were swooning over him. That was one for the QH team!Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335385366138424092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603946585821420123.post-76812079611244952532011-12-16T14:35:53.690-05:002011-12-16T14:35:53.690-05:00That's good news! That's good news!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03285687707142504098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603946585821420123.post-52862899388818600622011-12-16T07:42:28.261-05:002011-12-16T07:42:28.261-05:00Good news :)Good news :)Calm, Forward, Straighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08360276614916635500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603946585821420123.post-83093576776725320872011-12-15T22:21:16.363-05:002011-12-15T22:21:16.363-05:00Yes, indeed, a frisky horse is a healthy horse! I...Yes, indeed, a frisky horse is a healthy horse! I've been thinking about one of your previous posts where you wrote about Harley being beautiful in your eyes but not in a big name dressage barn type of way. Harley is beautiful and I think QHs have the most beautiful heads of any breed. People at my old dressage barn (high end, fancy schmancy) said Jackson was a cute little pony in a condescending way when I bought him and arrived for a lesson. So, he's not a warmblood. He's still beautiful and he tries his heart out. Who could ask for more? Not me or you.
