About A Horse Girl

My photo
Val
Although I did not grow up on a farm or in a horsey family, I have been drawn to farms and horses for my entire life. I waited 24 years for my horse and I cherish every moment with him. He continues to surprise me and has proven to be a kind yet challenging teacher. I, myself, am a science teacher by profession and a PATH International (formerly NARHA) certified therapeutic riding instructor. I live with my husband and our avian companions, three budgies and a precocious cockatiel, and in 2013 we welcomed our daughter and future horse girl, Sweet Pea.
