  1. I love Harley. That was great. They were all goo but I think my favorite one was at C trip in front of judge.

Hope you and Harley have a wonderful New Year and lots of good rides.

  3. Oh, my goodness - that was great, funny, charming, entertaining, and just what I needed today. It is so easy to forget that we need to just let go and enjoy our ponies whether they are rock stars or not. Thanks for sharing. :0)

  4. That was really good!! Very cute!

I forgot geldings make that 'wonk wonk' noise with their man bits. Lol, Harley has 'fat gelding' syndrome! I'm loving his flying change style too.

  6. Grey Horse Matters- I could have just died! The ring was really chewed up at the C end and we were literally the last two rides of the day. Harley's face pretty much says it all, but we pushed forward and still had some nice moments, like the lengthening at the end of the video. I am loosing my position a little, but he really gave it his best try!

  7. Thanks, Ruffles!

Glad you enjoyed it, Karen! I highlight our successes all year long, so I decided that it would be fun to do a bloopers video. I have been keeping track of things that I wanted to add. The more film you take, the more bloopers you catch on camera. It was fun to put together.

  8. Thanks, Lisa! Oh yes, the "wonk, wonk". That is a good way to describe it. When I was taking regular dressage lessons, I rode a huge TB/Hanoverian mare and then Harry, the petite stallion, so I had almost forgotten the "wonk, wonk" myself. Would you believe that Harley reminds me of mares, despite his gelding status? I captured some of this in the video. He can be very particular and tells me when I am using too much aid or not sitting right. I learn a lot from riding him and appreciate this quality in him, because I was used to riding mares with much the same "particular-ness".

  9. We are very proud of our flying change progress! These are not our absolute best, but the best that I have on camera, especially the nice right to left one. :)

  15. YOU TWO ARE AWESOMELY funny and perfectly together...even in the blooper reel!
Loved this totally! I do understand why you would want and NEED a new area to show, with that crap footing!
His flying changes are hilarious...he does get-er-done though!
